The Specialized Stumpjumper is the lastest bike to get a makeover and it's a big one at that! The new Stumpy keeps the two wheel size options of old and adds a long, a short travel and a EVO version of each into the mix, all wrapped up in a very good looking package!

Funn launch a new internally routed version of their Updown post and say they have solved the problem of seat post sag.

Working with Greg Minnar, Maxxis have announced the introduction of a brand new tyre to the lineup. The Maxxis Assegai is a cross between the DHF, DHR II, a High Roller II and a Shorty making an aggressive tyre suitable for wider rims. 

Whilst the cycling world goes mad over carbon Stumpjumpers this, EVO that, high-end shocks and bikes that cost a lot more than most of us have in our bank accounts at any one time, we took the opportunity to have a closer look at the 2019 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp Alloy 29. As it says on the tin, it's made of aluminium and costs £2,500 making it the second cheapest Stumpy you can buy.
