Two new women specific bikes launched by Canyon today show that they think women need different geometry compared to male counterparts. The release of the brand new full susser Spectral WMN and a hardtail, the Grand Canyon WMN AL reveals subtle geometry and specifications differenced over the unisex models of the same name. 

Although we work in the world of web, here at off.road.cc we still love getting our hands on a photobook. The latest to pique our interest is "The Bilderbuch 2018" by bike company Bombtrack, that although isn't printed, is a lovely 474 pages worth of beautiful bikes from the range, it's like something from a bike packers dream!

The 2018 Surly Dorset Gravel Dash is on Saturday 26th May 2018 to Sunday 27th May 2018. Created by local bike shop keeper Charlie the Bikemonger, it has a somewhat unique approach and also won awards for being the “Best New Event” too. 

Sven Cycles are no strangers to the Rohloff hub gears or to gravel bikes for that matter. The new Explorer combines the Rohloff Speedhub with tweaked geometry from their gravel grinder, the Pathfinder to create a versatile adventure bike. 

The Distance is a self-supported gravel event taking, 9th – 10th June 2018 in the Peaks.  It's ‘self-supported with benefits’ as it really does not conform to any current event format, focusing on the growing trend of rackless adventure bike touring, but with a unique twist.

The Kinesis TripsterAT is a bike we really rate here at off.road.cc, in fact,  our sister road.cc liked it so much they named it their 'gravel and adventure bike of the year' for 2017/2018. Kinesis riders take to the road and dirt in this short video to show just how versatile the Tripster is. 

A HEARTFELT JustGiving crowdfunding appeal has been launched to help a well-known Enduro Race mountain biker and well-respected freeride, skills guide who has been left paralysed from the neck down after falling from his bike. We've ridden, raced and camped next door to Pete on a few occasions and can attest to his vibrant personality and fun-loving nature. We wish you all the best Pete, good luck in your recovery.

The Transition Smuggler is the trail bike of your dreams, it’s agile and nimble yet retains the ability to plough through the rough. It makes you climb like you are the best version of yourself and is an absolute hoot downhill. It’s a little on the hefty side but when a bike is this versatile and this much fun to ride, you really won’t care.
