The Vulpine is the latest gravel tyre from US-based WTB tyres and is currently available in a single 700 x 36mm width. The design, narrower than many gravel tyres, does affect comfort. Still, it meets the objective and is an incredibly fast and smooth-rolling tyre that isn't just for the dusty mid-west US.

The Bontrager GR Elite is a handlebar aimed at gravel bikes that gives geometry numbers that will be familiar but a slightly different shape.

The Schwalbe Wicked Will is a new model that we have tested in the Super Race version. It has proven to be a tyre that combines an impressive mix of abilities, creating a versatile tyre that feels fast enough for long days in the saddle while still providing excellent grip.

The MET Veleno MIPS is a helmet aimed towards cross-country, trail and gravel riders and offers a very well vented and comfortable design but has a few very frustrating features, including a flimsy visor.

The Granite Portaledge XE Strap Mount is a lightweight, secure storage system that provides easy access to puncture repair tools and other essentials. Comprising an alloy bracket that mounts onto bottle cage bolts and a strap to secure spares in place, this is a simple and effective design, assuming you have the space within the frame.

The Amplifi Track 17 is a generously sized day pack with numerous, mostly well-located pockets to separate everything you need to carry. It's made from tough materials and is comfortable to use, although the single size might be a little tall for smaller riders.

The Apidura Racing Hydration Vest is a minimal pack with a 2-litre reservoir and several pockets and pouches for food and ride essentials. The construction is excellent with a good choice of fabrics, with the only slight negative being the bladder, which does move around a bit.

The Vittoria Syerra is a new model that has been classed as a down-country tyre, which aims to mix cross-country speed with grip and the more durable carcass of an all-mountain tyre. While it achieves some attributes, the level of grip can be disappointing.

The 100% Altis Gravel helmet is a peak-less version of the MTB trail helmet and gives an exceptionally comfortable fit. It features several neat design touches that other brands should note, but the extra mass can make it quite warm, and the look won't appeal to everyone.
