Hutchinson Skeleton Racing Lab 29x2.3" tyre review

Hutchinson's Skeleton Racing Lab is a low profile, lightweight tyre aimed at XC racers. It’s impressively grippy on hardpack, but loses traction quickly on anything loose – and it’s rather delicate, too.

Royal Racing Heritage Shorts review

Royal Racing’s Heritage is a lightweight trail short that’s just as good for hot rides as it is for a trip to the pub. However, it could do with more zipped pockets, and the one that is zipped could be better placed.

Royal Racing Heritage Short Sleeve jersey review

The Heritage short sleeve jersey from Royal Racing is an excellent jersey for the summer months. It’s baggy, long and well priced. Despite the Polygiene antibacterial treatment, however, it can still get a little whiffy after a sweaty ride.

IXS Trigger FF helmet review

The IXS Trigger FF is a full-face helmet that aims to combine open-face breathability with full-face protection. It’s certainly light enough for all-day riding, but its open face style straps aren’t the most comfortable and the shell is fairly large.

Bontrager Rally WaveCel helmet review

The Rally WaveCel from Bontrager shares the looks of the brand's flagship Blaze helmet. Although it does away with some of the cool techy bits of its pricier sibling, the Rally brings WaveCel at a wallet-friendly price. It's comfortable and the shape looks rather nice, however it's weighty and fairly warm.

Leatt DBX 2.0 Long jersey review

The Leatt DBX 2.0 Long jersey is a subtle design that neverthless performs brilliantly. It’s incredibly comfortable, fits very well and provides a little extra warmth during colder months. However, if you like wearing a long sleeve in summer, this one is a bit warm.
