ENVE launch new Foundation Collection with the all new AM30 wheelset
After years of exploration into affordable methods of manufacturing full carbon wheelsets, ENVE has launched the Foundation Collection, including the AM30, an all-mountain full carbon wheelset.

Designed to support tyres from 2.3" to 2.6" with help from their 30mm internal width, the AM30's are a modern wheelset in every way. They're designed for trail and enduro riding, so they're best paired with bikes with 110 to 180mm of suspension.
The new AM30 wheelset comes with a new unique shape and ride feel. Not only does the new shape and carbon laminate balance claimed compliance with vibration damping, it also aids the rims impact toughness.
The rims feature the brands wide hookless bead which is a larger than normal surface which dissipates impact forces across a larger area. It's designed to further that impact toughness but also to reduce the chance of those dreaded pinch flats.
A bonus is that the rims run on Industry Nine 1/1 hubs.
Also featured on the entry level wheelset are moulded spoke holes for external nipples. Rather than drilled holes that are found on a range of carbon rims, ENVE has opted to mould the holes by running continuous carbon fibers around each hole. This enables the brand to create a rim that's lighter without compromising its strength.
The whole of the Foundation Collection comes with ENVEs five year warranty and Lifetime Incident Protection scheme. The warranty protects the customer against any manufacturer defects and the Lifetime Incident Protection will sort you out if you damage the rims in a crash, while riding or in transit as long as you have proof of purchase.
The AM30 wheelset will be available from early May and will set you back £1,800 for the set. It'll also be available in both 650b and 29" sizes.
