Lakes based mostly mountain biking type, with the odd foray into gravel, 'cross and even road. Fuelled by coffee and porridge. Driver of Van. Known to race at times. Happy place being out the door and in the hills - local or further afield, all is good with two wheels in the dirt.

We’ve all had that disc brake that just won’t stop squealing and Juice Lubes Brake Juice disc brake cleaner helps combat the dreaded brake howl. It's quick and simple to use, works as advertised and it's decent value too.

It's dead simple; spray on and let it do its job, no wiping off,  nothing, just let it evaporate. It won’t harm other parts of your frame or components and is carbon fibre safe. The spray dilutes whatever muck is there and then evaporates it away - nearly magical. Just don’t get it on you, it can be a bit itchy - it does warn you on the label.

As it comes in a big 600ml can, so it does last for a long while, and you don’t need much for it to be effective. It’s good value at this size, and you won’t expect to use it all the time - just when you have tried all the mechanical reasons why your discs are squealing. It’s also handy if you somehow get oil or polish on your discs.

Suitable for road and mountain bike is the claim - which is fair enough as there really isn’t a difference between the two in terms of disc functionality. The cleaner does exactly what it claims, and you can’t argue with that.
