- Softshell backing keeps you warm, even when moderately wet
- Thin palm gives plenty of feel and doesn't bunch up
- Cuff could be a little longer to keep everything snug
100%'s Brisker Cold Weather gloves use a decently chunky soft shell backing along with a thin, unpadded palm to offer loads of feel while also keeping your hands toasty warm, even when it's wet. They're excellent for keeping you comfortable without losing control in autumn or springtime riding and the price is very reasonable too.

While the softshell backing isn't totally waterproof, it helps to keep you plenty warm even when it's fairly sodden with rain. It's also got plenty of stretch, which helps keep it comfortable despite the extra bulk. There's also a decent snot-wipe on the thumb that deals with winter levels of mucus nicely.
You also get a nice, thin synthetic leather palm that gives plenty of bar feel and a good shape, without any padding to bunch up. There's a bit of silicone print for extra grip on the index fingertip for extra grip on the brake lever, while there's a motivational quote on the palms, I assume to keep you going when it's all cold and soggy.
The only thing I didn't particularly like was that the velcro closure cuff isn't particularly long, which mean there could sometimes be a bit of a gap if my jacket or jersey rode up, though I didn't notice it being particularly chilly in use. Given the extremely reasonable price, that was something I could definitely live with either way.
All in all, the Brisker Cold Weather gloves are a superb choice at a great price. They're warm, work well in everything apart from torrential rain and you get loads of cool colours to choose from as well. If you do want a proper waterproof glove, then the Hydromatic Brisker gets a longer cuff and a waterproof membrane liner on the backing for £10 extra.
