XCO racers who value lightweight can opt for Reaction C:62 and Phenix C:68X. These carbon hardtails feature SRAM AXS wireless 1x12 drivetrains, with the Reaction C:62 on GX-spec and the Phenix C:68X running premium XX SL Eagle. Forks are 100mm Fox 32 SC Float Performance on the Reaction C:62 and Float Factory Grip SL with Kashima coating on the Phenix C:68.
Rolling these race-ready Cube carbon hardtails along are Newmen wheels. The Reaction C:62 is fitted with 28h-spoke Beskar 30 rims, while the Phenix C:68 goes even lighter, with a Newmen Phase 30 VONOA carbon build, featuring 24 carbon spokes per wheel.
Tyre specifications are similar for both bikes, with Schwalbe Racing Ray 2.25in upfront and Racing Ralph 2.25in at the rear. Both tyres are Super Race casing and made with Schwalbe’s Addix speed compound and Kevlar reinforcement.
Adding to the Reaction C:62 and Phenix C:68X aesthetic are integrated seatpost adjustments, with Newmen supplying the 27.2mm carbon posts. Build weights are under 10kg, with the 2025 model year Reaction C:62 at 9.9kg and Phenix C:68X weighing only 8.5kg.
Stereo ONE22 C:62 SLT trail bike
For trail riders, there’s a new carbon option. Cube’s added a carbon version of its 130mm trail bike, the Stereo ONE22 C:62 SLT. Featuring a 130mm Fox 34 Float Factory GripX fork up front and Float Factory shock, Stereo ONE22 C:62 SLT rolls Newmen Phase 30 wheels shod with Schwalbe Nobby Nic and Wicked Will tyres, both in the 2.4in casing width.
True to its purpose as a trail bike, the Stereo ONE22 C:62 SLT is equipped with 4-pot SRAM Level Ultimate brakes, actuating 200mm front rotors, and 180mm rotors at the rear. There are adjustable angles, too, varying the head angle between 66- and 65.4 degrees, depending on rider preference and terrain type. The Stereo ONE22 C:62 SLT factory build is 11.8kg.
Big-hitting e-bikes
Cube followers who want more travel can look at the latest alloy Stereo Hybrid e-bikes: ONE44 and ONE77. Both bikes feature Bosch’s CX mid-drive motor, Newmen Beskar 30 wheels and SRAM wireless Eagle drivetrains.
The ONE44 is configured with a 150mm Fox 36 Float Factory GRIPX fork and 140mm of rear travel, managed by a Fox Float X Factory shock with Kashima coating. Drivetrain specification is SRAM XO AXS 1x12 and Shimano supply XT brakes, with large 203mm rotors front and rear, for confident deceleration and momentum control when edging the 23.9kg ONE44 down those steep and technical trails. Schwalbe Magic Mary and Big Betty 2.4in tyres ensure excellent climbing and descending traction.
Suspension travel increases to 170mm front and rear on the Stereo Hybrid ONE77, with a Fox Float 38 Performance Grip fork and Float X2 Performance shock. Unlike the ONE44, Cube’s 170mm e-bike features a mullet wheel size combination, shod with Magic Mary and Tacky Tan tyres, both in the 2.4in casing size. To keep control of the 24.3kg ONE77 on those steepest of double black diamond descents, it features Magura MT7 brakes.
An ultralight gravel bike
Beyond its new and updated mountain bikes, Cube’s industrial designers and product team have also developed the Nuroad C:62 SLT gravel bike. With its C:62-specification carbon frame, this gravel bike promises great vibration absorption and enhanced long-distance gravel route ride comfort.
The Nuroad C:62 SLT gravel frame also has generously shaped rear stays, creating adequate room for large volume 50mm wide tyres and all the traction and ride comfort benefits that a larger contact patch and lower inflation pressures bring. Cube’s factory builds feature 45mm Schwalbe G-One R and RS tyres on Newmen Advanced SL X.R.36 Vonoa wheels.
SRAM’s XPLR AXS provides 1x12 gearing for the Nuroad C:62 SLT, with a 40T chainring and 10-46 cassette spread, providing all the climbing and flat track gearing you require. With its ultralight Newman wheels, composite fork and Cube’s C:62 carbon frame construction, the Nuroad C:62 SLT weighs only 7.5kg, says Cube.
