For 2020 the Madison Flux Enduro jersey gets new 'paint fade' designs and cool colour combos, and they're eye-catching without being shouty or overtly feminine either. Good work, Madison.
The lightweight material makes this a great summer long sleeve on its own, and a useful year-round layer too. The fabric is super soft against the skin, and easily pairs with a baselayer and waterproof on cold days.
It gets laser cut ventilation holes in the rear mid-back for cooling with packs, too. The fabric can create a static charge at times, clinging to the body as a result, but it happened to me intermittently – it may depend on how this jersey mixes with your other fabrics.
It's a slim and well-fitted cut. I'm 160cm, a dress size 8/10 and wore a size Small, so if you like a bit more room in your clothes you'll want to size up. The sleeves are plenty long enough for bike use, though, and the rear hem is dropped too. There's also a rounded neckline which is almost a little low!
There's a glasses wipe on the lower hem, which is useful and doesn't weigh the jersey down as these things can on some tops.
It's hard to fault the Madison Flux Enduro jersey. It's cool, comfy and stylish, plus it comes with a lifetime guarantee. The 2020 refresh hasn't come with a price hike either – at £45 it's one of the cheapest tops I've reviewed lately, and one of the best too.
