YT Industries Decoy SN gets lightweight enduro e-MTB flavour thanks to Fazua Ride 60 motor
It's been a minute since we've seen a new bike from YT Industries but, like Mondraker and the Dune, the brand has taken a lightweight enduro e-MTB direction with the all-new Decoy SN. Kitted out with big, enduro-type suspension travel and Fazua's Ride 60 motor, it looks primed to please those searching for 60Nm of assistance in an agile, gravity-inspired package.

The original YT Industries Decoy is an e-mountain bike that's gone down very well in our tests (it even won the best e-MTB of 2023) and the new Decoy SN takes its foundations and builds on them, creating a heavy-hitting enduro bike with motor assistance.
However, the Decoy SN moves away from the Shimano power unit, instead opting for Fazua's Ride 60 ecosystem that the brand has chosen for its low weight and high output, promising 60Nm of torque and 450W of peak power. The Decoy SN employs a 430Wh battery hidden neatly within the downtube. There's also protection for the motor with a skid plate.
As for numbers, the Ultra Modulus carbon frame benefits from a 170mm travel suspension fork, paired with 160mm of travel at the rear. All sizes usher a 63.9-degree head tube angle and 442mm chainstays with the former tuned towards descending performance and the latter for balance.
Other geometry numbers come from the large frame's 472mm reach and a steep 78.1-degree effective seat tube angle. Bolstering versatility is a flip chip that steepens the head angle by 0.3 of a degree and the seat tube by 0.2-degrees. Importantly, that flip chip also raises the bottom bracket by four millimetres.
The 160mm of rear travel is controlled by YT's famed V4L linkage and the frames benefit from shorter seat tubes so riders can size up without too much of an issue. There are mounts under the top tube for accessories, too.
YT's Decoy SN is available in three builds with the Core 4 topping the range with a Fox 38 Factory fork with a GRIP X2 damper and the DHX2 Coil shock. Shifting is provided thanks to SRAM's GX AXS T-Type drivetrain and the 160mm cranks come from e*thirteen with the Helix Race cranks. SRAM also has braking covered with a pair of Maven Silver brakes. The bike rolls on a set of Crankbrothers wheels and there's a Renthal finishing kit.
The Core 3 build is sorted with a RockShox ZEB and Vivid Ultimate combo with SRAM's new S1000 T-Type shifting and TRP DH-R Evo brakes. There's a Crankbrothers Enduro 2 wheelset and a finishing kit from Title.
Hitting the value point is the Core 2 build with a RockShox ZEB and Vivid Select, Shimano's SLX drivetrain, and DT Swiss's H1900 wheelset. This bike also gets a TRP DH-R Evo brakes.
Finally, all bikes rock YT's Postman V2 dropper post with travel from 150mm up to 230mm through the size range. There's SDG's Bel Air V3 saddle and Continental Kryptotal tyres.
Prices start at £6,500 and go up to £8,500 with weights under the 20.5kg mark.
