A representative from Silverfish will be in touch with each of you shortly to sort out your prizes.
For everybody who entered and didn't win this time best of luck for the next one.
Spring is here and the sun even came out briefly for Easter so to get things rolling we have a fantastic competition from our good friends at Silverfish. They are offering four lucky winners the choice of a pair of Michelin Racing Line tyres plus Peaty's awesome Holeshot Biofibre Tubeless Sealant packs to get everything set up tubeless and out on the trail.
You can choose any of the Racing Line tyres, so if you're looking for a new pair of XC tyres, no problem, you can opt for a pair of Force XC2 tyres or if you prefer a little bit more of grip for your Enduro escapades, then how about a pair Wild Enduro tyres and there's even an E-Wild option for all you e-bikers out there, so there is something to choose for everyone. Plus you get two 120ml Peaty's Holeshot BioFibre Tubeless Tyre Sealant packs to set those new Michelin Racing Line tyres set up tubeless and get you ripping up the trails.
The total value of the prize pot for all four winners depends on the tyres chosen. The Racing Line varies from around £65 to approx £90 per tyre, so each winner’s selection could be different. Therefore we've approximated the total prize pot to be around £750!
Michelin's Racing Line range is dedicated to competition. It has been specifically designed to meet the needs of pro and semi-professional riders as well as mere mortal everyday riders. It's been designed to put you on the top step of the podium regardless of your discipline or whether you are riding an E-bike or analogue machine.
The Racing Line range has been developed from the experience acquired from the challenging tracks and trails visited by the UCI Mountain Bike Enduro, E-Enduro and E-MTB Cross Country World Cups, as well as feedback from its riders and teams including Nukeproof-Sram Factory Racing and the Lapierre Overvolt Team.
Let’s take a closer look at some of those potential tyres;
Michelin Force XC² Racing Line Tyre £64.99
The Force XC² is the next generation of Michelin cross-country tyre and is designed for fast and nimble handling whatever the conditions. The updated tread pattern with taller, wide-spaced knobs enhances control in a wide range of riding conditions and the Gum-X compound optimises the balance between rolling efficiency and traction. The Cross Shield² casing provides extra pinch protection to prevent tread and sidewall damage.
Michelin Wild Enduro MH Racing Line Tyre from £84.99
The new Michelin Wild Enduro Racing Line range is lighter and faster than its predecessors. Whichever version you choose; Mixed Soft (MS) Mixed Hard Packed (MH) or the freshly revised rear-specific option, you’ll have optimum grip and reliability to win races regardless of the trail conditions. Michelin has developed a 55tpi casing which reduces flexion movement and offers improved stability, puncture and pinch flat protection.
The new casing is 10% lighter than before and offers reduced rolling efficiency to maximise your speed thanks to an optimised tread pattern. The new Magic X compound delivers maximum grip to win races, even at low temperatures and in damp conditions.
We loved the original versions of both these tyres, so it’s great to see that Michelin has improved the rolling resistance and reduced the weight improving what was already a great pair of tyres. Check out our reviews of the front and rear versions now.
Michelin E-Wild Racing Line Tyre From £79.99
Designed specifically for E-MTB riders who demand the highest levels of performance, Michelin's new E-Wild range offers front- and rear-specific tread patterns drawing inspiration from its existing Enduro range. The E-Wild's dual-ply 55TPI casing is designed to minimise block movement for superior stability when cornering or landing after a jump and features two nylon protective strips to reduce punctures and pinch flats and improve sidewall strength.
The Rear has been crafted to provide maximum traction when climbing evident through its asymmetric knob placement and the Front tread pattern has been designed to offer grip to inspire plenty of confidence when reaching warp speed downhill.
Peaty's Holeshot BioFibre Tubeless Tyre Sealant 120ml; £7.99
Developed alongside World Cup mechanics and world champion racers. Peaty's Holeshot Tubeless Sealant is packed full of biodegradable fibres & sealing particles to give a fast and strong seal. Using the latest fast-acting latex, our water-based sealant is ammonia-free, non-hazardous and lasts up to 6 months in the tyre in temperate climates*.
It won't ball up in the tyre and is easily washed out. The Biodegradable fibres and particles bind together with the fast-acting latex to create a clot (like platelets in your blood) to quickly & effectively seal holes and tears up to 6mm.
When we reviewed it we were immensely impressed with it. You can read that review in full, but here’s the verdict “Overall performance was been extremely good, with instant repair during our puncture tests, excellent ability to avoid drying out and ease to clean out. It is also a formula that uses biodegradable particles throughout, simply making it one of the very best sealants available." Enough said!
All you need to do to be in for a chance of winning one of these four Prize packs from Silverfish, is to fill out the form below. Best of Luck.
