Atherton Bikes has more than established itself with some of the most unique bikes on the market. Earlier this week, the brand unveiled its latest offering, which pushes what's possible using additive manufacturing and aluminium frames. In this video, Gee Atherton talks us through exactly what's going on with its new S170.

Atherton is a brand that's best known for 3D-printing titanium lugs and bonding carbon fibre tubes to them. However, with the new S170, the brand has pushed the envelope by using CNC-machined aluminium lugs and, because there's no welding present on the frame, the bike uses 7075 aluminium tubing which promises a 70 per cent higher fatigue performance.
All bike are handmade right next to Dyfi bikepark. There are 12 sizes of the bike on offer, which is far more than we've seen from any other brand. On top of that, Atherton Bikes offers a lifetime warranty.
Anyway, we'll leave Gee to explain things in greater depth.
