Two Volcano Sprint - a 1000Km ultra endurance race
The Two Volcano Sprint (2VS) is a not-for-profit ultra-endurance unsupported cycling race held in Southern Italy. It's held to promote eco-sustainability in the region and thanks to the event's sponsors, almost 100% of the rider fees go towards an annual sponsorship grant.

The race spans over 1,000Km of Italian coast starting at Mt. Vesuvio, along the Amalfi and Cilento coastlines, then into the Apennine Mountains before descending into Sicily to finish at Mt. Etna. Prepare yourself for around 24,000 meters of climbing.
Riders must ride completely self-powered and self-supported while following a GPS route. Riders can, however, get food or lodging from commercially available services.
This event is held to raise money to support an Annual Sponsorship Award Project. Entrants (and non-entrants) of the race can create a 2-3 minute video with a 300-word application explaining the outlines of a project or initiative that they believe will positively impact nature preservation, environmental sustainability or climate action. The initiative or project will boost economic growth for underprivileged communities or help clean up a town or region.
The event starts on November the 7th at 5:30 am with a finishing party on Monday, November 11th at 18:30.
