Trust Performance linkage fork now available in the UK
If you'd been after trying or buying the Dave Weagle designed Message linkage fork from Trust Performance but were finding it hard to get your paws on one in the UK, then breathe easy and ready your credit card, as Upgrade Bikes has added the brand's unique 130mm carbon design to their roster.

The linkage design is claimed to maintain ground trail as it compresses, theoretically improving stability compared to a conventional telescopic fork where the head angle steepens and trail reduces as the fork dives. The deal with Upgrade Bikes now means that Trust forks will be available through independent bike shops.
Mind you, at £2,500 a pop, this isn't a component purchase most people will be making off the cuff. With that in mind, Upgrade's priority is getting demo sets out under the paying public and they'll be attending a trio of demo events in 2019 with Trust forks attached to Pivot Trail429 bikes.
Sadly, the Leisure Lakes Demo Weekend at Cannock Chase on March 23rd and 24th is already sold out, but you'll still get to have a go at the Malverns Classic at Eastnor Park in Ledbury over 14th, 15th and 16th June with the Ard Rock Enduro in the Yorkshire Dales rounding out the calendar on 3rd-5th August.
It'll also be possible to book a demo experience through a dealer, with them also offering the setup support and aftercare you'd expect from a product that could buy a very nice standalone bike for or a couple of very high-end forks from the big names.
We'd love to get our grubby paws on a test set, but with a limited number about and demos taking priority, you lot are likely to be able to have a go before us.
