The colourful collection is supposed to work equally well on or off the bike. Some of the highlights from this collection include the S/F Riders Jacket, which is a light and packable jacket made from wind and water-resistant HC Lite fabric. Other garments in the collection offer more warmth when temperatures drop, such as the thermal anorak and shorts. A special mention should be made of the flannel shirt - which sometimes is seen as the core piece in any gravel rider’s wardrobe.
The whole collection has been made with versatility in mind, as Sarah Swallow, Specialized Fjällräven Exchange Ambassador said: "We don't need a wardrobe full of clothes that serve singular purposes. Instead, we need a few pieces that do everything we need."
In addition to clothing, this drop includes also some specific bikepacking bags; a Handlebar Bag, Frame Bag, Toptube Bag and a Snack Pack. The brands say that these durable and timeless bags will ensure that packing everything you’ll need for multi-day gravel trips will be easy.
“Inspired by the exposed aluminium frames from Fjällräven’s first packs in the 60s and Specialized’s knowledge about bike packing, we built upon existing brand DNA and developed a modular and adjustable frame system that focuses on stability and ease of use. Our goal was not to overcomplicate anything. Our gear is simple, clever, built to last, and can be easily adjusted and fixed in the field,” Erik Nohlin, Industrial Design Leader at Specialized said.
