As a way of celebrating a rich history in mountain biking, Ritchey has announced a limited edition Team Edition colourway for the Ultra hardtail.
- The best titanium mountain bikes you can buy
- Best mountain bikes you can buy for under £2,000
- Everything you need to know about the Giant Bicycles 2021 mountain bike range
The new Team Edition colourway is a homage to all of those riders who have found their way onto the podium aboard a Ritchey bike over the years. The red, white and blue paint scheme is inspired by those winners who have then inspired generations of mountain bikers since.
The Team Edition colourway can only be found on the brand's hardtail, the Ultra.
The Ultra is designed around a 120mm fork and has boost spacing at both ends. It can accommodate both 27.5x2.8" and 29x2.4" wheel and tyre combinations.
The frame features internal cable routing for a dropper post and comes with a 68.5° head tube angle, which steepens a touch to 68° on a small frame. There's a 73.5° seat tube angle which steepens to 74° on the S and M sizes. Then there's a 439mm chainstay and an L frame has a reach of 445mm.
A large Ritchey Ultra is set to weigh 2570g.
If a Team Edition Ritchy Ultra is right up your street, the frame will set you back 1,000 euro

Oooh, that is seriously tempting.
Until you realise that with chain slap and trail hits it won't look that good for long. Hmm, helitape maybe...
Ahh one of the classic fade colour schemes - along with Orange's classic Orange White one. Retro-tastic!
Love a Ritchey in these colours.
