Muc-Off makes a splash with first bike-specific pressure washer
Muc-Off might be best known for its lurid pink bike cleaner, but the brand now wants to be part of your whole bike cleaning experience with a new, bike specific pressure washer that offers a bearing-friendly low-pressure mode as well as the usual dirt peeling power-wash options.

It's a main-power and hose fed unit rather than a portable design but that means it can kick out up to 6.5L per minute at a maximum pressure of 100bar, which compares well to the items at similar money from the likes of Karcher.
Muc-Off's main draw over those units is the fact that it comes with a trio of washing lances, one of which is a high-pressure adjustable type for all-around blasting of filth, but then with two specific low-pressure lances; one for bicycles and the other for motorbikes.
They say that the bicycle one is safe on bearing and suspension parts and make the same claim for the higher-pressure motorbike specific one. As you'd expect, the washer is designed to be used with their cleaner and they offer a foam gun separately that allows you to plug in a bottom of cleaner and get squirting, though there's no separate feed for the other guns.
You can also get a neat carrying case separately that allows you to store the machine when not in use. Other neat touches include the metal hose contact points for durability and a soft touch finish on the gun and lances to prevent any potential paint damage should it bump against your bike.
The unit on its own costs £80 or you can get it for £90 with the carry bag included. Should you wish to go the whole hog and get the washer, bag, the foam lance and a bottle of cleaner chucked in, that'll cost £100, while buying the bag separately will be £20 or £15 for the foam lance.
The unit will only be available direct from Muc-Off's site and it's UK-only for the time being. We've got one in for test, so expect a full review soon.
