Fizik releases new Ergolace GTX mountain bike shoes
Fizik has just released the Ergolace GTX trail shoes. These weatherproof shoes come equipped with Gore-Tex in a flat or clipless version. Said to be 'adventure-ready' they offer a triple-layered, waterproof and breathable membrane to help keep you dry when the worst of the weather hits.

Available in two colourways, and, as mentioned in either a flat or clipless version, the Ergolace GTX shoes have a relatively low top and an off-centred lace-up closure. Both versions have an X2 outsole and Vibram rubber tread, something Fizik says 'ensures grip and traction, whatever the conditions.'
The main difference between the flat and clipless versions is the sole. The flat version has a low-profile, tapered tread pattern to help connect with the pedals. The clipless version has an extended cleat track to offer more setback and greater flexibility in cleat placement.
They also offer ripstop fabric uppers and PU-laminated toecap and side reinforcements.
The Ergolace GTX shoes are available in a slim fit in sizes 36-48 (37 to 47 are available in half sizes), they weigh approximately 363g and are available for £200/$210/€189.
