Fancy a enduro race without all the stress? Enduro2 might be for you
If you fancy taking part in some epic Alpine enduro racing but don't fancy going it alone against the clock, then Enduro2 might just be the race for you. It follows the same stage racing format as most enduros, but with a key difference in the fact that you do it as a team of two riders, with your times counting as one.

The event is held over three days from 6-8th July 2019 in Les Arcs, France, with over 10,000m of descending promised over the course of the event, with 10-12 timed stages. There's also a mere 1,500m or so of climbing to be done, thanks to uplifts on the liaison sections.
The terrain will take in everything from man-made bike park riding to natural technical singletrack, though entrants are warned that it's only suitable for advanced riders only - best to bring your big boy/girl boots - and all the trails will be ridden totally blind, with no practice allowed.
The organisers say that the aim is to have a much more fun and social riding experience than your standard enduro; one where you'll need to stop and help a mate in trouble rather than speeding past them as you gun for the fastest time.
Entry costs €395 per team of two people, though you'll need to find your own way there plus accommodation for the duration, though as Geneva is the nearest airport and Les Arcs has plenty of hotels, B&Bs and campsites, that shouldn't be too tricky or expensive.
We're currently extremely tempted, but if it floats your boat then check out more details below.
