After weeks of turbulent weather, things have finally got a little warmer and milder as we approach spring. It's also been a calmer week for us on the cycling news front, too, which has freed us up to compile a comprehensive guide on the best gravel bikes and publish features on frame materials and MTB protection. The top reviews of this week from Fizik, POC and Finish Line

This week, we've been going through quite a saddle-heavy period; we've reviewed not only one but three saddles made by Fizik.
The Fizik Vento Argo X3 is a new addition to the brand's lineup and aimed at those who enjoy the thrill of being between the tapes or on open gravel race courses. There is little to fault about this saddle; its shape is easy to get used to and offers a mix of versatility and stability.
We've also spent hours on the Fizik Terra Alpaca X5 and Fizik Gravita Alpaca X5 – both saddles can be spruced up with an optional, integrated tool kit. The Gravita, as the name suggests, is aimed at downhill mountain bike riders and the Terra is for the slightly tamer cross-country and enduro enthusiasts. The Gravita, although pleasing to the eye, wasn't the best for comfort due to its overly flat and narrow shape.
The Terra fared a bit better with its shape but was still lacking a little on the comfort front to get the top score.
In addition to the saddles, we've also tested Finish Line FiberLink sealant which is made with natural latex. Despite its overwhelming smell, this sealant impressed Matt with its sealing capability and longevity. And lastly, after two winter seasons of testing, we've published our POC W'S Thermal Jacket review (spoiler, it's quite good indeed).
