Marin has impressed us recently with both their mountain bikes and gravel bikes, the brand has been pushing forward with lots of new bikes in various niches so it seems fit that they fill out their current Nicasio range and add a road plus bike to it.

The NS Bikes Define 150 1 is a big wheeled beast that is big on travel and looks too. The 29er enduro bike has relatively progressive geometry, a big spec list and suspension that will eat up most things in its path. If you like your bikes long in travel and big on performance then you and the Define 150 will get on well.

Spring seems to have finally arrived and is here to stay, we've been taking advantage of the good, dry weather by racking up miles on the test bikes. Next up to hit the trails are these three; a Salsa Journeyman, a Rockrider MT100 and a Ragley Piglet. Along with them, we'll be taking a light innertube from Tubolito and a young ripper on their Rockrider.

First Look: Salsa Journeyman Apex 1 gravel and adventure bike

The latest affordable gravel bike to hit the off-road.cc test deck is this, Salsa Journeyman Apex 1 in a rather stunning pink. This is the 650B wheeled version of the adventure bike, with 2.1" tyres, a 1x drivetrain, a carbon fork and all the rack mounts you could ask for. It's ready to roll, the only thing left to ask is - can our test rider pull off that colour?

First Look: New 2019 Ragley Piglet steel hardtail

We brought you news of the updated Ragley models back in January 2019 and now we've got our grubby mitts on a Ragley Piglet for testing! The shorter travel steel hardtail has been bestowed with boost, grown in reach and gotten slacker too during the companies short hiatus - we can't wait to take it for a ride!  First though, here's a first look at a complete build of the bike.
