The Specialized Enduro gets an Öhlins equipped LTD model
Specialized reckons that variety is the spice of life and that if you're one for an enduro bike, you're probably into a bit of the spicy stuff. Due to be available for purchase at the end of May, the revered Enduro gets a limited run of bikes donning Öhlins suspension and a fresh lick of paint.

The Specialized Enduro is a bike that's characterised by its long, slack, and low geometry paired with 170mm of suspension at both ends. Its rear 170mm of travel is, of course, delivered by that suspension platform that draws its inspiration from the Demo downhill bike and the Enduro makes full use of Specialized's SWAT storage system.
Making this limited edition bike special is that it comes properly sorted with Öhlins suspension. The brand with a deep motorsport heritage supplies the RXF38 fork that benefits from the newest twin-tube TTX18 damper and the TTX22 coil shock with a custom Rx tune. The six-bar linkage is designed with a rearward axle path and it moves through its travel, helping reduce hang-ups while keeping the bike fast, says Specialized.
As for the rest of the spec, the Enduro LTD runs a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with SRAM Code RSC brakes. Specialized Butcher T9 tyres are then draped around the Royal Traverse wheels.
With the new suspension, the brand let their designers loose to do what they thought was best with the colourway. The result is a mix of the Satin Dopio colourway mixed with a Sand finish.
These bikes will be available from the end of May through the Specialized website for a price of £6,500.
