Much like nearby Hopton Woods, this Midlands riding spot is often overlooked, but it's a little gem, with a rolling riot of a red cross-country loop, more gentle blue loop plus plenty of technical and tricky old downhill trails that'll provide a satisfying challenge for a modern trail or enduro bike.
Though there's nothing hugely long, there's plenty of height to be dropped, so you'll want to keep your wits about you. In fact, if you squint hard enough, there's an almost Alpine feel about some parts of the area.
The trails were built in conjunction with and are maintained by the Eastridge Trail Partnership, a group of local riders and volunteers.
Amenity details:
It's just the basics of free parking and a picnic spot, with no toilets or any other facilities on site. You'll need to take anything you want with you.
Perhaps you're looking for a ride off the beaten trail, or you want to mix your riding up with some nature walks. Be sure to check Komoot to uncover further adventures in this area.
