Stan's is known for its range of tubeless tyre accessories and wheels having recently launched the Flow MK4 wheelset at Eurobike. While the wheels have a subtle aesthetic, it's on the inside where things get really interesting.
That's because they're built with Stan's brand new M-pulse magnetic pawl freehubs with 1.66-degree engagement. Thanks to the pawls with Neodymium magnets, it's said that the freehub provides a much stronger and more reliable engagement as the pawls are pulled into the hub's teeth, rather than pushed in with springs and there's virtually no resistance when coasting. Of course, there are also no springs to break. Stan's says that each detail of the M-pulse hub was engineered to eliminate any weaknesses found in other designs.
On the subject of hubs, these wheels come with top-quality double-row Enduro bearings.
The 6069 alloy, low profile rims get a 30mm internal width that has been chosen especially to optimise the tyre shape for traction and control. This wheelset will happily seat 2.3in to 2.6in rubber. The rims also employ a patented BST-Asymmetric shape which promises to create the most reliable tubeless seal.
As for the spokes, they're of the readily available J-bend variety and they're sat in reinforced spoke beds which is combined with the offset drilling of the asymmetrical design, boosting durability.
The Stan's Flow MK4 wheels are available with Microspline, HG, or SRAM XD freehubs and can accommodate either Centerlock or 6-bolt brake rotors. The wheels come pre-fitted with tubeless tape.
So, onto the competition, we're giving away one Stan's Flow MK4 wheelset to one lucky winner. To be in with a chance of winning all you need to do is leave us your best comment in the comment section below before midday on the 17th of October. Good luck!

M-Pulse is appropriate terminology as it will also lead to Mates Pulsing with envy for these beauties.
