Joining the Tailfin family is its new Mini Cage for even more stashing
It looks like Tailfin has really ramped up its efforts to make bikepacking much more accessible regarding transporting luggage. This year, we've seen the launch of the mini pannier bags and Suspension Fork Mount system, both of which allow you to carry even more stuff on a wider variety of bikes. And now, joining the Tailfin family is the new Mini Cage mount.

Constructed from CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminium, the mini cage has a low profile design around a standard two-bolt spacing. With chamfered edges to prevent the risk of damage to soft bags, tubes or straps, the Mini Cage comes equipped with an integrated strap to hold things firmly in place.

Tailfin claim to have found that on more traditional systems, it's possible to damage the aluminium rivet nuts on bike frames on rougher finds. Therefore, Tailfin has developed a novel feature called "Load Pads", which are small Nitrile gaskets permanently bonded to the underside of the cage. This offers extra support and helps spread the load more evenly during shock loading.
