Nukeproof launches the Cub-Scout kids bike with 20", 24" or 26" wheels
Nukeproof has just launched its own range of kids bikes, based on the ever popular Scout hardtail mountain bike. They say the lightweight alloy Cub-Scout is for mini shredders and is based on the bikes that the kids of Nigel Page and Sam Hill wanted to ride.

Nukeproof says the new Cub-Scout is not just another kids bike, it takes inspiration from their award-winning Scout adult hardtail range. With 20", 24" and 26" wheels, the brand says the Cub-Scout has been designed from the ground-up as a proper mini-hardtail bike. Designed to allow kids to enjoy shredding off-road, just like in the launch video below.
The option of three wheel sizes (20”, 24” or 26”) means that there should be a bike to suit kids of all sizes from aged 5 and up. Each bike features a lightweight custom butted 6061 Alloy frame with bang up to date long, low and slack kids specific geometry. Nukeproof say (and they are right when they do so) that proper fit and function of components is essential for kids bikes because adult components are not optimised for smaller people. They have selected the best kids-specific components they could find on the market.
Each bike in each wheel size will be available in two spec’s Race and Sport, here are all the details:
