Fox lifts the lid off its new Speedframe helmet
Fox Racing's Speedframe helmet has become super popular among riders but it's safe to say that it's got a little long in the tooth. As a result of the brand's constant tweaking and pursuit of improvement, Fox has teased some information on the latest version of its beloved trail helmet. Here's what we know.
- Best mountain bike helmets 2025 - top-rated head protection for the trail
- Fox Speedframe Pro helmet long-term review
- When should you replace your bicycle helmet?
First spotted at 2023's Eurobike show, Fox has finallyformation on its new open-face h dropped some inelmet, although the brand still keeps its cards pretty close to its chest.
We know that the new version of the Speedframe is a complete redesign and that Fox is bringing three models to the market, each of which benefits from different levels of Mips. The Speedframe RS is the range-topping helmet that dons Mips Integra Split whereas the Speedframe Pro (pictured here) uses Mips Air Node. The base-level helmet doesn't get a rotational impact system.
Fox has also divulged other new features, such as a new sunglasses dock whose visor can be adjusted with a single hand. With that, Fox Racing has kept at least one thing that we know of — it uses the same head form as the outgoing lid.
As for prices, we can expect the new Speedframe to start at £105, the Speedframe Pro is then priced at £165 and the top of the top-of-the-range Speedframe RS will set you back £225.
We're told that the new Speedframe will be fully released between February and March. As you might have noticed, we've been riding the Speedframe Pro for a good couple of months already. So keep an eye out on the site for a full review soon.
