Be the cool kid and get your hands on a limited edition Raleigh Chrome Aero Pro Burner
Raleigh has announced plans to celebrate its famous Team Aero Pro Burner bike by producing a run of bikes to be sold to lucky customers. If you want one, the time has come to register your interest!
Last July, Raleigh celebrated the 35th anniversary of its Burner BMX bike with a production run of 350 bikes selling out in super quick time. This time its the turn of the Chrome Aero Pro Burner with only 550 of the limited edition Aero Pro Burners being released. Each will have an individually numbered frame and feature modern components that make it appear as similar to the 80's version as possible. With the original Burner made even more popular by featuring in E.T., Raleigh says the recent spike in popularity has in part been inspired by sci-fi series Stranger Things. The bikes is set to cost £600 and will be available in the Autumn.
Raleigh says "We’ve revived the Chrome Aero Pro Burner and it’s coming Autumn 2018. These bikes will be as close as possible to the original so you can relive your greatest Raleigh memories.
Pre-registration is now open and you can submit your interest in purchasing the Chrome Aero Pro Burner. By submitting your pre-registration interest you'll have access to an exclusive sales window. You’ll be kept up to date with everything throughout the process through email."
Over 7,000 people registered for the £500 Burner BMX so if you want one you'd better be quick.
Raleigh are also producing two retro themed balance bikes. The limited edition Baby Burner has a lightweight aluminium frame with comfy handlebars to suit an upright riding position for your nippers. It has the same colour scheme as the original Burner, "reflecting the iconic original" so say Raleigh.
Likewise they've also recreated the Sherwood hybrid as a balance bike with tan tyres, saddle and bars, a light alloy frame and a mini wicker basket on the front. Both the Sherwood and Burner balance bikes are £120 and available to pre-order now.
