YT Industries Jeffsy Primus has been available in 24- and 26-inch wheel sizes for a while, offering top-performance mountain bikes for kids. Now, the German brand has expanded its range with a 27.5-inch model, offering a new bike for taller or older young shredders. 

The Fox Union Clip shoes have been built with a huge range of adjusibility in an impressively weatherproof but reasonably breathable build. They’re incredibly well-designed and without a doubt, one of the leading protagonists in the best mountain bike shoes category. They are, however, a smidgeon pricier than the competition.

The Union takes on the role of the flat pedal option in Fox’s fresh shoe line-up. It gets most of the excellent features we saw on the Fox Union Clip and its tread and rubber compound offer excellent and reliable grip. While on the pricier side of the best mountain bike shoe spectrum, the asking price is par for the course.

Back in 2020, Specialized unveiled the Levo SL, a lightweight e-mountain bike that literally paved the way for the sport. Three years later, the Morgan Hill-based brand has given the trail focussed e-MTB a well-deserved overhaul, rewarding it with a new frame, a fresh suspension kinematic, and even a refined motor design with a power output in line with that of its rivals.

Donning the latest kit from SRAM, this bike celebrates Nino's 10 World Championships with a special-edition colourway and a range of subtle-but-very-cool details.

The 2023 cross-country mountain biking season has just started, and we're already seeing some new bikes break cover, such as Nino Schurter's 2023 Scott Spark RC Special Edition. But last weekend, British XC hero Tom Pidcock and legend Pauline Ferrand-Prevot have been spotted riding what looks to be a prototype Pinarello mountain bike.

Designed as the perfect match for Crankbrother’s Mallet E clipless pedals, the Mallet E Lace shoes are great for a range of riding styles. They do a lot of things well, including ventlation and weather resistance but the biggest selling point is the comfort they offer for all types of riding including trail, enduro or gravity. That said, it would be great to see longer cleat tracks though.

Easton’s Microfibre Handlebar Tape is primarily designed to reduce buzz from the road or trail. It's a tape that doesn’t get squishy or slippery. While grip, buzz reduction, and comfort are excellent in the dry, when wet grip wains making its price a bit tricky to swallow. However, it is very easy to install and adjust.

The EA70 AX handlebar from Easton is a slightly tweaked version of the MCD road bar and offers more stability when the roads get gravelly. Those changes have resulted in a bar with a comfortable shape and one that supplies confidence when travelling at speed in the drops. However, not everyone will appreciate the stiffness or the price.
