ION Button Tee Traze Short Sleeved Women's Jersey Review

The ION Button Tee Traze is a fitted women’s cycling jersey that’s suitable for pretty much every discipline of riding. It’s a premium quality piece that helps keep you cool and is super comfy to wear.

Like most ION Bike kit the oddly named Button Tee Traze is predominantly a mountain biking jersey but I’ve worn this on the gravel bike too and would feel at home wearing it on a road ride too, should the mood take me for really skinny wheels! The slim fit and cute button neck make this a stylish option for summer trails.

The jersey is constructed from a super thin material that used the company’s antibacterial ‘Channel Flow Lite’ tech, with vertical channels running through the fabric for superior moisture transport and great wearing comfort. It’s soft to the touch and stretchy too meaning its 'all day long' comfortable.

Features wise there is a zipped pocket at the rear which is fairly sizeable, think snacks and a phone, but the lightweight material means that putting anything too weighty in there drags the material down a little. There is also a dropped rear hem and a thick silicone strip running around the base of the jersey to keep it in place, I haven’t had any problems with it riding up when worn with a pack and without.

I’m a dress size 8 and wore the size XS which is cut pretty close to the body. In other ION gear I’ve have usually worn a Small, I’m happy in both but I think the latter does come up a little large in both width and length.

Riding in the Button Tee Traze is a pleasant affair, it’s cool and dries off really quickly, thanks to its light nature. The casual style of the jersey also means it looks great at the post-ride pub or coffee stop whichever bike you happen to be riding.

At £39.95, the jersey isn’t the cheapest but as ever with ION you get what you pay for. In this case it’s a premium quality jersey that fits a treat and will keep you cool all summer long.
