Trash Free Trails announces Nationwide Halloween clean
There's nothing scarier than a neglected and litter-ridden trail and Trash Free Trails has taken the helm in order to make your favourite trails extra tidy with the Halloween Trail Clean Tour. Between the 22nd and 31st of October, Trash Free Trails will be hitting the road to visit seven different nominated locations, planning to exorcise a location a day of its trash.

Trash Free Trails is looking for your nominations for trails in Glasgow, Sheffield, Shrewsbury, Cardiff, Bristol, Portsmouth, and London that need a good old clean. Then, the crew will rock up in their TRASHBUSTERS van ready to clean with Red Bull, Trek and Northface athletes in tow to put on a bit of a show after the cleanup.
The TRASHBUSTERS will supply all of the kit to get you involved and clean up your trails, work with local councils to responsibly dispose of any rubbish and rally the Trash Free Trails community to come and lend a hand.
The guys will even install a Trash Free Trails infographic sign, designed by Beth Breedon.
By organising this, Trash Free Trails intends to bring together trail communities to equip them with the tools, support, and know-how they need to become long-term stewards of the trails they visit. That means that next time the crew visits, we can all concentrate on riding the trails, rather than tidying them.
There will also be a film made documenting the Halloween Trail Clean Tour to be shown at Kendal Mountain Festival in November.

Of course, Trash Free Trails can't visit every trail system in the UK so that's where the TrashMob comes in. During the Halloween Trail Clean week, the guys are aiming to achieve 100 community lead trail cleans which would make it Trash Free Trails' largest ever activation.
