New clipless pedals from Funn
Directed by their pro athletes Funn have created a new clipless pedal, the Ripper for trail, enduro and downhill use.
The athletes that ride for the company wanted a versatile clipless pedal with a big platform for use whilst racing and training, so Funn set out and provided the Ripper. Names on the Funn pro team are the Propain Dirt Zelvy riders, so that's World Cup riders Phil Atwill and co. and also British racer Harry Molloy.
The pedals measure 93mm by 100mm and are 21 mm deep. They use SPD style cleats and have a claimed weight of 570g per pair. As always with Funn they will be available in a range of bright colours and will cost $149USD.
Also for 2018 Funn introduce a new range of alloy handlebars the Kingpins. These will be available in two diameters of 35mm, in a length of 785mm and with three different rises (30mm, 15mm and 7mm) and 31.8mm in length of 785mm (rise of 30mm and 15mm) and a super wide 810mm (rise of 15mm and 7mm). You can choose from the usual range of colours so there should be something there to suit you and your ride. The bars will cost $75 USD.
Lastly, finish your look with the new Hilt grips, these guys are 30mm wide and will cost $16USD.
