When it comes to multi-day races in the UK, we're pretty convinced that the Merida EX Enduro is up there with the best, with the off.road.cc team having ridden it on numerous occasions. It'll be returning to the lush natural trails around Minehead in Exmoor once again for 2020, with just 80 places up for grabs.
Taking place on the 11-13th of September on some of best natural riding in the UK and based in Allerford, a small scenic village near the coast between Minehead and Porlock in the South West, entries for the three-day stage race will open at 9am on the 1st March, with pre-registration being pretty much essential to secure a place.
Those lucky riders that do bag a spot will get more than just some tight racing over 110km of riding and 20-plus timed stages, however. As the event is all-inclusive, all your needs are taken care of, with a full catered breakfast in the morning, numerous food stops throughout the day - including the classic tea break for scones - and a big meal and beers from Many Hands Brew Co laid on in the evening.
For 2020, even returning riders will have something a little new to discover, with several new timed stages and, for the first time, an evening of night stages. e-MTB racing with return for a second year running and there's also the hardtail category for people that hate their knees.
As well as Merida Bikes the event is also made possible thanks to the National Trust, Fenwicks, TRP, Lezyne, Bontrager, CarbonCycles, DiscoBrakes, RideGuard and Many Hands Brew Co.
