Bikepacking Bristol
Hello fellow cyclists. Can anyone recommend a good camp spot within a few hours ride of Bristol? Not a camp site, but somewhere lovely / remote to pitch a couple of one man tents for a night (we’re doing a bikepacking tester night.....). Thinking Mendips but no idea where.

I'd suggest pottering over to the Forest of Dean - plenty of secluded spots in the woods and the riding is great for a gravel bike. Worth pointing out bikepacking is technically illegal without landowners permission anywhere in England except Dartmoor, but I'm sure you'll be fine
