We first heard about the MTBMeetup before off-road.cc was even invented. Rachael has been aiming to get to a 'meet up' ever since it's inception and it seems 2018 was the year! The MTBMeetup is a not for profit, social mountain biking event held each and every summer. It's purely an event for mountain bikers to get together, ride, meet new friends, have some good food and a cheeky beer or two.

We were intrigued to find out what a bike event would be like without a key reason to focus on such as a race. Turns out, you really don't need competition to have a good time, you just need hundreds of people in one place, at the same time for the pure love of cycling!
